Resources
The Population Research Center consists of three operational units that provide core services to research associates and their staff as well as demography students and postdoctoral fellows. The cores include: an Administrative Core, which manages center resources, provides grants administration services, organizes a weekly workshop for scholarly exchanges, and supports a pilot research program; a Computing Core, through Social Sciences Division Computing Services, which provides the infrastructure and personnel for a rich array of computing and data services, including the acquisition and cataloguing of data sets and their documentation; and the NORC Library, which provides reference services and access to bibliographic services, demographic journals and books, and other reference materials.
